Link 2007 is an association representing 12 of the most important Italian non-governmental organizations (NGOs), operating in more than 50 countries, whose general aim is to help strengthen the impact of international cooperation for poverty reduction and support to peace and stability.

Link 2007 aims to strengthen the dialogue on cooperation policies with the Italian, European and international institutions,  based on the sharing of  some general values and commitments, such as solidarity, justice, fight against inequalities and social exclusion.

Link 2007 and its members   have placed at the center of their action the theme of accountability,   signing in 2013 a binding chart of commitments, both on the administrative and financial dimension and on the evaluation of impact of the projects.

Link 2007 also arises from the desire of the NGOs associated to support each other to develop their analytical and operational skills in a world crossed by strong and rapid changes.

Intercultural dialogue as a precondition for the peaceful coexistence of peoples and cultures is one of the main values guiding the action of Link 2007.
